You've
probably already heard of Geocomm.com. It is a must see for GIS
professionals. Their online magazine, Spatial News is a quality
publication and highly recommended. The newly launched Geo Bookstore is now
open and will continue to add GIS and CAD titles. They boast the
lowest advertised price "or they'll beat it". For a limited
time, buy a book and get a free T-Shirt! http://www.geocomm.com/bookstore
New at the Geocommunity
Traffic and postings at the new Career Center have exceeded
expectations so far. They've made this area available as a place where Geo
Industry professionals can post/browse free job ads, resumes, and
consultant listings in GIS/CAD/RS/Programming categories. http://www.spatialnews.com/classifieds/

The latest Hawkeye includes a new command to insert
Georeferenced Tiff files. Since the appropriate location is encoded in the georeferenced Tiff file,
Hawkeye can automatically place, scale, and rotate the image. This can save
hours of error prone manual manipulation of coordinate data.
Tiff's georeferenced with a world file, or georeferenced internally, can be used. Sorry, but we couldn't get this to work reliably in release 14.
So this feature is only available for AutoACD 2000 users.
