Its been a battle (perhaps more like a war with many
battles) and were sixteen months late, but weve finally finished our
conversion to Windows and the Internet. In the last 24 months, weve learned C++,
Windows 95/98/NT, MFC, AutoCAD ARX, AutoCAD Release 14, Visual Basic, HTML, Front Page,
and how to market products on the Internet. Ignoring the fact that it took 4 times longer
than we originally thought, were very pleased with what we have accomplished.
Of course, the world did not stand still while we were learning/doing all
of this. So now we have to learn Java, ActiveX/COM, SDTS, and a whole bunch of other
stuff. But we believe we have overcome some substantial obstacles for a two person firm
dedicated to Quality, Service, and Value. We sincerely hope and pray that your experiences
using our products confirm our meeting our objective of providing quality software,
competent and timely service, at an fair cost to you. If not, please let us know.
Wed like to do what we can to rectify the situation.
In May, we expect to finish our Year 2000 testing program and publish the
results in a final Year 2000 Disclosure Statement on June
1, 1999. At that time, we will then begin to develop some new products for the year 2000.
In spite of all the contradictory prognostications, there is one thing we
can be sure of: Year 2000 is going to be interesting, very interesting. Were looking
forward to it as a once in a life time opportunity to demonstrate what were made of
and what were capable of doing.
