Mentor Software Releases New Coordinate Conversion .DLL

DENVER - Mentor Software released version 8.01 of TralaineDLL, a 32 bit Dynamic Link Library for the Windows NT/95/98 environment. TralaineDLL provides application programmers with all the tools necessary to add geographic coordinate conversion directly into their applications. A wide variety of environments are supported: Visual Basic, Delphi2, Optima++, Microsoft's Foundation Class library (MFC), and ordinary C++ and C development environments.

TralaineDLL supports more than 1,000 coordinate systems, 32 projections, 40 ellipsoid definitions and nine datum transformation techniques. Applications can be modified to include the benefits of coordinate conversion in as little as a couple of hours. Application programmers can now provide their users with full access to coordinate system, datum, and ellipsoid definitions with a single function call from their applications. A coordinate system browser and interactive test dialog are also included. License fees start at $295.
