The following enhancements to our product line were made recently.
Autodesk has recently released 14.01 of AutoCAD. In this release, they made a minor
modification to the .DWG file format. I suspect this has something to do with the Open DWG
Alliance issue. In any case, Release 14.12 of Tralaine will now correctly convert release
14.01 .DWG files.
Release 14.12 of Tralaine now supports the conversion of
ArcView Shape files. Of course, batch mode is fully supported.
Release 14.12 of Tralaine now supports a subset of the CADKey file format. The specific
subset was chosen as those element types which are most likely to be used by mappers.
Multric for Release 14 is now downloadable from our Internet
site. We have had some very positive comments concerning this product from users of
competitive offerings. If your using vector rubber sheeting, this is worth a look see. See
how MSAG Data Consultants put it to good use.
Release 14.13 of Hawkeye is now posted on our Internet site.
This new release includes two new commands. HITIC will draw tick marks along a
pre-existing line which represent, for example, 10 minutes of latitude or longitude. The
HIGeodesic command will draw a geodesic between two points. (A geodesic is the ellipsoidal
equivalent to a spherical great circle. However, since on the ellipsoid these are not
circles, we have to call them geodesics.)
Hawkeye also now includes AutoLisp access to the Forward and Inverse Geodetic
functions.
